Meet the PitchKallr Coach Portal: Your Whole Season, On Any Screen

Your phone runs the game. It calls the pitch, puts it on your pitcher's wrist, and logs the result before the next batter digs in. But the work that wins Sunday — reviewing the log, spotting tendencies, prepping the scout — deserves more than a phone screen in the parking lot.

That's what the PitchKallr Coach Portal is for. It's live now at app.pitchkallr.com, it's included with PitchKallr Pro, and it uses the same account as your app. Sign in on a laptop, a tablet, or the desktop in the coaches' office — your games are already there. Nothing to import, nothing to set up.

Your season, already waiting

The dashboard opens on your season at a glance: games and record, total pitches, hit accuracy, and your pitcher leaderboard. Below it, your recent games and your team's overall pitch mix. Switch teams or seasons from the top bar — if you run a summer roster and a fall roster, each one keeps its own view.

Every number flows in from the games you've already called in the app. The portal isn't a second place to enter data. It's the first place to actually see it.

Every game, pitch by pitch

Open any game and you get four tabs: Overview, Pitch Log, Heatmap, and At-Bats. The overview covers pitch type breakdown, outcome distribution, strike percentage, and count performance — what you called on 0-2, what you called on 3-1, and how each went. If you tracked contact, you'll also see contact quality: hard-hit pulls versus weak opposite-field contact.

The Game Timeline tells the story in order — every inning change, every pitching change, through the final line. And while a game is still going, it's badged LIVE: the view refreshes itself as your team plays, so an assistant stuck at work or a co-coach on the road can follow along and have the full breakdown waiting when the last out is recorded.

One more small thing coaches asked for: you can add or fix the final score right from the portal.

The note you type once and tap all season

You knew the riseball was flat in the third inning. Will you remember at Sunday's practice?

Quick Pitch Notes fix that. On the portal, under Settings, you build one-tap note chips — "Riseball flat," "Working the change," "Ahead early." They sync to your app and sit right under Send Pitch during the game. One tap, no typing with a runner on second. Every note saves on the exact pitch you tagged and shows up in that game's Pitch Log on the portal.

Your postgame talk stops being "the rise wasn't great" and starts being "pitch 45, right here."

Your offense, beyond the built-ins

Steal, hit & run, bunt, and swing away come built in. But your offense has more than four plays — so the portal lets you add Custom Offense Buttons for the rest of your playbook: fake bunt, delay steal, slap, whatever you run. Type them once on the web and they sync straight to your iPhone, lined up next to the built-ins on game day.

Analytics that answer real coaching questions

The Analytics page is filterable by pitcher and season, and it goes past the box score:

• Strike %, first-pitch strike %, and spot accuracy — is she hitting the glove, or just the zone?
• What Follows What — your actual call sequences. If 41% of your drop balls are followed by a changeup, you'll see it before opposing hitters do.
• Putaway Pitch — strike-three rate by pitch type on two-strike counts.
• Zone heatmaps — density or accuracy, drawn in your own zone system and your own zone names, from the catcher's view or the pitcher's view. Your zones, not ours.
• Workload — pitches and innings per game across the season.

And the numbers stay honest. Games logged in basic signal-only mode count toward totals and pitch mix, but they're never used to fabricate accuracy stats that weren't tracked.

Scout the other dugout

The Opponents section is a scouting notebook that follows you all season. Build batter cards with tendency traits across stance, hands, swing, timing, and approach — first-pitch swinger, chases, pull hitter, late swing, and more. Then let the history accumulate: the next time you face a team, each batter card shows how many times you've faced her, how it went, and what she saw — "Faced 7 times: 2 K, 1 BB, 2 hits. Saw mostly drop and change."

Facing "Lady Mustangs" and "Mustangs 14U" that are really the same team? Merge them, and the scouting history comes along.

When it's time to travel, hit Print. Game reports, pitcher reports, and opponent scouting reports all print clean — pass them out on the bus.

Built for your whole staff

The portal isn't head-coach-only. Invite your assistants with a link — they sign in with their own accounts, see the same games, and tag their own scouting observations. Personal preferences stay personal: each coach keeps their own zone names, note chips, offense buttons, and catcher's-or-pitcher's view, synced to their own phone.

Starting a new season? Duplicate Team copies your roster, pitcher profiles, and arsenals into a fresh team without dragging last year's games along.
